We’re excited to announce our grant from the ERC-4337 core dev team!
We’re super excited to have the support of the EF for the development of the Module Registry. A public good that will serve as the foundational layer to the Rhinestone Protocol and the greater module ecosystem.
As we’ve said many times before, modular account abstraction transforms the wallet into an open and permissionless platform for innovation. In order to achieve this, we require a secure trust delegation layer where trusted entities can make attestations that assert statements about the security of smart account modules. Smart account vendors will tap into this registry to build their own opinionated “module marketplace” and wallets will plug in to offer an unlimited feature set to their users.
For more on the Module Registry check out our docs. If you’re interested in building your own module, reach out to kurt@rhinestone.wtf and check out the ModuleKit.
